Firefox getting slower or buggy?

If you love Firefox but lately it seems to be taking longer to load up and acting buggy or crashing often once it's loaded - don't despair. It is still the most robust and most secure browser (in our opinion) and the amount plug-ins, add-ons and extensions available seem limitless. The problem might be that all these added utilities are not created equal and many if not most are not created by Mozilla or Firefox. I will say that over 70% of the add-ons that we use here at Cybersprockets works great and update automatically keeping them in sync and compatible with today's internet environment. That being said - not all of them play well. No need to uninstall your favorite tool right off the bat. First order of business is to disable of those add-ons that you no longer use on a frequent basis. This way you can keep your settings and reactivate them when needed in the future.

The next and perhaps most important step is to go to the Mozilla Firefox CHECK YOUR PLUGINS PAGE. This page has a web based utility that will give you the opportunity to update some or all of your addons. It's fast and when updates are not readily available, it gives you the ability to research what others are doing to deal with issues or work arounds. Give it a try now by clicking here
